Who We Are
West Kili Forest Tour Challenge is an outdoor event organizer that promotes domestic tourism and sustainable forest conservation.
Our work is based in Kilimanjaro region, Tanzania, home to the highest free standing mountain in the world and one of the most popular tourist destinations in Africa.
We raise awareness on resilient restoration and protection of the Kilimanjaro ecosystem in an effort to promote inclusive conservation.
West Kili Forst Tour Challenge facilitates forest and mountain activities such as hiking, running, cycling and riding for companies, organizations, bike societies and individuals to enjoy while supporting sustainable conservation and ecotourism as well as improving the livelihood of local communities.
2024 Event Details
The tour challenge is designed for all ages to explore and enjoy nature. The tour challenge involves the following activities:
Forest Trail Run (21.1km, 10.2km and 5km) · Forest Cycling (MTB) · Forest Moto Cross 75km · Hiking Challenge 5km · Car Rally Show · Children’s Round Up Event · Farm Trip · Wildlife Trip · Rongai Forest Trip · Camping · Shira Plateau Trip · Networking · Exhibition · Swahili food · Nyama Choma · Music · Live Performance · Round Table Meeting
There is also be a 42.1km for the pro, athletics and hardcores runners, cyclists and bikers.
